Siamak Hariri
A model of the Bahá’í House of Worship in Chile.Siamak Hariri studied at the Waterloo School of Architecture and the Yale University School of Architecture, where he received his Master’s degree in Architecture in 1985.
Co-founder of Hariri Pontarini Architects with partner David Pontarini, Mr. Hariri is responsible for many of the firm’s corporate, cultural, and institutional projects, including such award-winning projects as the McKinsey & Company offices and the Robertson House Crisis Care Centre, both in Toronto, and the MacLaren Art Centre in Barrie.
Mr. Hariri recently designed the Schulich School of Business and Executive Learning Centre at York University (in joint venture with Robbie/Young + Wright Architects), which opened in September 2003.
His firm is currently working on a House of Worship for the Bahá’í community of Santiago, Chile, having been commissioned to design the temple upon submitting a proposal in an international competition.
